Worlds Best Sommelier Competition Day Five Update - Santiago, Chile

Well ... this is it! The final day of competition and what all the candidates have been working towards.

The final three are selected and then have to strut their stuff in front of 200 odd people where they are judged on tasting, service, knowledge, wine lists and more. Intense stuff ... and frankly, full on! Then, it was a final gala dinner to wrap up the competition. Phew ...


Well done to all candidates and especially our boy Franck Moreau. Special thanks must go to Wines of Chile for hosting the event. They've done an incredible job considering the earthquake the country suffered not to long ago.
