Well I didn't and thanks to my good mate Harley Augustine from Kiss FMs Writemix Wradio, it was an incredible day of food, wine, music. Nice ...

Not only that, I had the chance to speak with Carl & Eric about what they like to drink and how and why they put on such an event. In all honesty, you couldn't have met a nicer couple of chaps who are keen to not only spread the word about food and wine, but support a winery that was almost wiped out in last years Black Saturday bushfires. Regional Victorian Ambassadors indeed.

With the negative connotations & perceptions of alcohol (in general) and the club industry at present, this event basically sticks its tongue out and gives it a big 'nerr!!!'. See, you can drink and listen to music without picking a fight. 'Bravo', I say.

Picnic blankets, families, kids, food, wine, no queues for drinks (or toilets), a perfect sunny day, great music, great company ... what else do you need?

As a certain distinguished wine writer might say, 'fine, very fine indeed'.
