Smile, Eat, Drink ...
It is a rare occurrence for a young Australian chef to return to our shores after doing full seasons with the best restaurants in the world, and then deciding to ply their trade at home. Ryan Flaherty is a young man determined to buck the trend, and to eventually open his own venture where limits and boundaries are ignored and exceeded.
Arzak,
The Fat Duck and
El Bulli are entwined in the inspirations of flavours and textures that will be delivered to a fortunate few, as Ryan creates a seasonal and local produce driven menu at Mission Australia's
Charcoal Lane.
32 people will be treated to a journey of flavours provided by Ryan in the Kitchen and The Wine Guide Team Ben Edwards and Dan Sims, where the expectation will be to let go, close your eyes, open your senses and enjoy the ride.
All profits from these dinners will be donated to
Mission Australia, to help continue the great work being done for the community.
In addition to unique food, wine and ambience, guest appearances by some of Melbourne's leading Sommeliers and brilliant front of house talent, will ensure a night to not only remember, but to treasure as a unique and possibly once in a lifetime experience.
PLEASE NOTE: Each table is allocated a specific time and number of people and must be booked completely. There are NO exceptions.
As these are single evening events, there are no deviations from the degustation, so dietary requirements are difficult to be catered for, but if we can help you in this regard we will. We will also be running a vegetarian degustation evening at a future date, so keep an eye on this page regularly. The Details ...$195 per person, 10 courses with wines to match.
